Walk down the forest trail to the lake and you catch a glimpse of a strange creature sunning itself on the muddy bank. Damselflies dart back and forth as you move softly to get a closer look. Tall forbs and watercress hide its complete form as it lazily snuffles around for a snack. Green eyes spot you and with a disgruntled snort, it slips back into the water. This 20+ ounce mug is very stable and sturdy on its rounded base, and is glazed with overlapping layers of streaking pale blue over deep royal blue on the outside and moss green on the inside. The mug’s subtle hand-applied feather/ scale impressions or markings over its surface makes for a good grip. The handle is a bit wider too— good for larger hands and a nice hefty feel.
