When I was drawing this, in October 2022, the student protests in Iran were in full swing; I was listening to the chants of “Death to the Dictator!” on the streaming news. A young woman who was taken into police custody for not wearing her headscarf correctly had died under suspicious circumstances. As of April 2023, these protests have not died down and many students have been poisoned in order to weaken their resolve.

I stand in solidarity with the young women and students of Iran. Death to all dictators!
