This wider-mouthed one also had a calming “Whale’s eye”.

Yarn bowls

May 25, 2025

The set of 3— including the blue prototype.

I had never made a yarn bowl before, but when a fan asked me to create some, I was eager to try. She provided dimensions and details for the “fishhook” to help me start. I made a prototype (the blue one) to figure things out, then created two more for her to choose from. During the process, I learned how yarn bowls should work, and I appreciated my client's patience as she explained things and waited for the bowls. I was very happy with the glazes and thrilled to send her all three, which she bought!

If you or someone you know needs a yarn bowl and you’d like to commission one or a set, please contact me and I’ll be happy to make them for you.
