This is Claudius. He's a uniquely made, handbuilt stoneware monsterpot with a lid for a head and made to make you smile even before you've had your coffee. This sturdy tri-footed stoneware pot is glazed with layers of pale teal and hairstreak blue over a pale yellow. The rivulets of color dance over the hand-applied surface texture. The interior is glazed clear and is food-grade safe.

Pots are good for all manner of loose items like pet treats, coins, keepsakes— and butter because the lid is a good fit. This piece is also a good keepsake vessel for the ashes of a beloved furry family member.
