ImageKind closed their shop last year, and it’s been difficult to find a good replacement. I’ve seen that many online printers have mixed reviews. However, Printful has a solid reputation for quality archival printing and products, and FinerWorks offers specialty papers that are more expensive but are worth it if you’re looking for gallery-quality prints and or want to have the work framed. I’ve included both services here because your print needs may vary.
Printful's Enhanced Matte print paper specs:
The paper is a thick, durable, museum-quality paper that provides a professional look for art prints and posters. The paper's heavy weight and matte finish make it a popular choice for artists seeking a high-end product.
The paper's specs make it well-suited for high-quality printing, including:
Paper weight: 189 g/m²
Paper thickness: 10.3 mil
Opacity: 94%
ISO brightness: 104%
Source: Sourced from Japan
Printful does offer framed prints, so if you would like it framed, let me know and I’ll set it up.
FinerWorks Gallery-quality Prints:
I made the decision to have these specialty prints backed by acid-free fome core, matted with archival matboard, and framed with a minimalist black gallery frame
Paper: 14 x 14" Moab Exhibition Luster 300
1/2" Extra Border Added
Finish: Luster (a slight sheen without a harsh glare)
Weight: 300 gsm (grams per square meter), which provides a substantial, professional feel
Thickness: 11 mil (mils)
Color: Ultra-white base (CIE Whiteness 145) for true-to-life color reproduction and high contrast
Material: 100% Alpha-Cellulose, resin-coated (RC) base
Archival Quality: Acid- and lignin-free, meeting museum-quality preservation standards for long-lasting prints
Let me know if there’s an image for which you need a specific size or variation that’s not shown here and I’ll set it up in the shop for your purchase.
