This is Emmer. He's a uniquely made, handbuilt stoneware monsterpot with a lid for a head and made to make you smile even before you've had your morning coffee. This sturdy tri-footed stoneware pot is glazed with a layers of floating pale teal and yellow over translucent leaf green, playing over the edges of the hand-applied surface textures. The interior is glazed clear and is food-grade safe.

Pots are good for all manner of loose items like pet treats, coins, keepsakes— and yes, butter because the lid is a good fit. This piece is also a good keepsake vessel for the ashes of a beloved furry family member.

Emmer might look like a grumblebug but he really has a great sense of humor and appreciates an outrageously funny story .
