Meet Milford. He’s happy to sit with you in the shade, rest, and read a book and will very sensibly encourage you to drink your water (it’s the reasonable thing to do).

These well-fitted lidded pots are great for storing sugar, salt, and other condiments that you need on a regular basis. They’re also good for hiding over-the stove and on-the-counter items. Pet treats, buttons, and other loose items fit neatly inside the pot (which accommodates most adult hands).

Made of stoneware, Milford is layered with a pale Chun blue glaze under a rosy translucent glaze and is topped with a lacy/ streaky pale blue lithium wash. The “buttons” on his belly make for a good grip when handling him.

Handwashing is recommended as the teeth can be fragile.

No two monsterpots are alike in personality and all of the glazes, formulated from scratch in the Kest Pottery studio, are food-safe.
