Oil paint on gessoed Masonite. 10” x 13”.

This piece was a “demo,” created during my teaching career at York College (2007-2016). I taught illustration there and often showed the students the “wet-into-wet” oil painting technique. A tone color was allowed to dry first on a surface. Then wet paint was applied as a drawing into which lighter tones were pushed. More color could be added as the layers became more dry. Likely created around 2014.

Art will be shipped flat between layers of fome core and corrugated cardboard.
