Oil paint on museum board, apprx. 8” x 10”.

I’d always had a fascination for the art of Maxfield Parrish and wanted to create a piece that was in homage to his work. I remember making it but it’s hard for me to pinpoint the exact era. I’m thinking I did it between 1990 and 1994.

This Librarian is painted on a museum board cutout and then adhered to the museum board backer. It’s very silly.

Art will be shipped flat between layers of fome core and corrugated cardboard.
