I’ve been having a lot of fun with the sigil series lately. I especially enjoy making them in rhythm with the seasons—letting each one echo the mood of the turning year.

Lughnasadh is a time of harvest, of gathering what’s grown, and of giving thanks for all that has carried us this far.

The sigil for Gratitude carries a braided motif—an entwining of one’s resources, memory, and blessings.
Belief speaks to trust in the unseen: the quiet knowing that we will be provided for.
And Defiance is the resistance required to beat the odds against all that would thwart our growth (begone, plant bugs!).

The Midsummer tiles were soft yellows and golds—light-filled and bright. But this stretch of the season—the “dog days” of summer—calls for something heavier. A deeper yellow, a richer gold. Maybe even a touch of orange—like the low, burning fire of the August sun.

As summer leans toward its golden end, may these sigils serve as small reminders: to gather what matters, to trust in what’s coming, and to be gentle with yourself—you’ve come a long way.
