Reconciliation Sigil Tile – Handbuilt Ceramic Talisman of Mending and Union
The Reconciliation sigil tile is a handmade ceramic talisman shaped for sacred repair. It holds the energy of healing fractures—between people, within the self, or across the echoes of time. Crafted from terracotta clay and marked with an original sigil of union, this tile invites mending, softness, and the courage to return.
Its geometry is subtle but intentional: encircling forms of acceptance and renewal , and an ever-present eye gazing into the rift. The green and blue engobe blend together like mingled waters, soothing and flowing. This is a tile that does not erase the wound, but honors it. The joining becomes the sacred act.
Designed for use in rituals of forgiveness, grief tending, ancestral work, or emotional healing. Place on an altar, hang near a threshold, or keep close during times of reckoning and repair.
Each sigil tile includes a poetic invocation, hand-lettered with ink on vellum:
Reconciliation
This is where the broken edges meet.
Not vanished, not forgotten—
but held.
The wound remains, but so does the will.
The eye stays open through sorrow,
and still chooses return.
Here, what was broken is named.
Here, what was silenced is heard.
The threads are taken up.
The stitch begins.
This is not forgetting.
This is remembering how to touch.
What’s a sigil? Read about it here in my blog.
The tile is 5.5” x 5.5” and fired with colored engobe and finished with alcohol ink.
To hang it: there is a “shingle” cut in the back of the tile to hang on a drywall screw or nail.
